Stock Harvard Women's
Institute meets on the Third Thursday evening of each month at Stock Village
Hall in Stock, Essex. We are a forward thinking Institute and enjoy various
activities as well as our monthly meetings, some of these include Hiking,
Theatre trips, Outings, Craft Days, garden Parties, and other social events.
We have a Darts Team and have recently lunched at Pietros in Stock. We aim
to keep the community spirit alive in the village and take pride in being a
friendly group and would welcome any new members.
The
Committee led by Tricia Kitchin are
working very hard to fulfil our members expectations and encourage and stimulate
the talent amongst us. Also to offer the hand of friendship to anyone who
needs it. One of our former members, Wendy Mcintyre has a bursary in her
memory for Denman College which is now widely recognised and several members
have been fortunate enough to go to the College. As you can see we are a
very active group, as for Jam there is very little of it.
