SHOEBURY VILLAGE W.I.
ST PETER'S HALL, HINGUAR STREET, SHOEBURYNESS
on the third Wednesday of the Month at 2 p.m.
We hold GROUP meetings - CRAFT first Wednesday in
the Month and GARDENING on the second Wednesday. Both are held at
2 p.m.
at St Peter's Hall or the venue announced at Institute meeting. The meeting is
on the third Wednesday and we have an Outing on the fourth one.
We hold Quiz evenings twice a year, a Barbeque in the summer and hold numerous raffles for our chosen charity. This year we are fund raising to get a toilet for the disabled at St Peter's Church so that the people with mobility problems are not excluded from events held at the Church hall.
Shoebury Village Women's Institute offers members one annual Bursary for a course at DENMAN COLLEGE, the W.I.'s own residential Adult Education College, at Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
