We are part of the Mandeville Group and our Spring Group Meeting this year will be held in The Village Hall, Coggeshall on 1st April 2009.

Meetings are held in Christchurch Hall, Stoneham Street, Coggeshall at 7.45pm every third Wednesday in the month. Visitors always welcome.

Paycockes WI
Our Institute has been running for over 40 years and we have between 35 and 40 members. We meet in Christchurch Hall on the third Wednesday evening of every month at 7.45pm. Last year we ran a number of fund raising events as we were short of cash including 2 cake stalls on Coggeshall Market.

Spring Group Meeting

Paycockes WI will convene the Spring Group Meeting of the Mandeville Group this year. Fortunately our Village Hall has had a substantial facelift and for the first time it has met our requirements for the group meeting.

Awards for All

Nine of our members will enjoy a trip to Denman College this year with a grant from Awards for All. We have £3,400 to spend on courses which in turn will be demonstrated to our Institute at our Annual Meeting in October 2009.

January Meeting

Mr Tim Crane entertained and informed members about the development of Wilkin & Sons jam makers of Tiptree. Fortunately the business is seeing no downturn so far during the recession and Mr Crane brought along a number of products which he donated to our Institute.
